Our Services

Deck Design

Our designers sketch layouts tailored to your home, yard, and lifestyle. You see realistic options that balance space, flow, and future maintenance.

Deck Consultation and 3D Modeling

Our deck consultation services include on-site assessment, goal discovery, and a full 3D deck model. You preview angles, elevations, and finishes before construction begins.

Deck Construction and Framing

Strong framing is the foundation of every build we plan. We frame with wood, aluminum, and PWT (Pressure Treated LVL) using trusted brands like ProWood pressure treated, TimberTech Aluminum, Standard Pressure Treated Lumber, and PWT Lumber premium wood treated.

Deck Repair and Replacement

Not every project starts from zero. We offer deck inspection, deck resurfacing, deck addition, and full deck remodeling assessments so your plan reflects real site conditions.

Deck Footing and Skirting

Footing options include helical piers (Helico) and diamond piers for dependable support. Skirting choices include lattice skirting, solid wood panels, horizontal or vertical boards, stone or brick skirting, and composite deck skirting.

Deck Railing and Lighting

We plan railing installation and deck rerail using composite railings, glass railings, aluminum, and cable railing from TimberTech, Westbury, and Hideaway. Our team also provides deck lighting design consultation and installation, including post cap, rail lights, and step lights from TimberTech and Westbury.

Underdeck Systems

A good plan considers the space below the deck. We spec Trex RainEscape and Zip-Up deck drainage systems, plus storage solutions or pergolas to extend usable square footage.

Deck Styles

Platform and Raised Decks

Platform decks suit flat yards and simple step-out access from the main floor. Raised decks lift the surface for upper-story doors or sloped lots.

Multi-level and Freestanding Decks

Multi-level plans break up larger yards into zones for dining, lounging, and entertaining. Freestanding designs work as standalone features for pools, gardens, or fire pits.

Curved and Cantilevered Decks

Curved designs soften sharp corners and add architectural character. Cantilevered plans extend the surface past posts for a clean, modern profile.

Rooftop and Pool / Spa Decks

Rooftop concepts turn unused roof space into usable outdoor rooms. Pool and spa layouts focus on slip-resistant surfaces and smart drainage near water features.

Covered and Screened Decks

Covered plans add shelter from sun, rain, and light snow. Screened designs keep bugs out while preserving airflow and views.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently replaced our older wood deck with a larger composite deck and couldn't be happier with the results. Phil and the team at WJC Remodeling did an outstanding job transforming our backyard into a beautiful, high-end outdoor space that our family will enjoy.

We received multiple quotes from other builders, and Phil stood out because he helped guide us through the entire process and make the right decisions for our budget without sacrificing quality or design. What impressed us most was the attention to detail and the level of craftsmanship throughout the project. The finished deck looks incredible, and Phil and his team take pride in their work.

The project completely transformed our backyard and gave us a space that feels like an extension of our home. If you're looking for a contractor who delivers high-quality work and truly cares about the finished product, I highly recommend Phil and WJC Remodeling.

For anyone considering a similar project, we chose TimberTech Antique Leather for the main decking with TimberTech Dark Roast as the border. We also added the lighting package and drink rail, which were absolutely worth the upgrade and really elevate the finished look.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. WJC Remodeling did a great job on our deck. Phil, the owner, was honest, kind, and meticulous. He gave us fair pricing with everything we asked for in the price quote, which I appreciated. Other companies gave us the base price for the deck and then sent us the add-ons separately. I wanted to know, bottom-line, what is this going to cost. His guys did a great job building our deck-they were quick, professional, and cleaned up their mess each night and when they were all done. Then Phil came out to inspect everything once it was done and sign off.
